1. Introduction

Welcome to the Cylipso Diving Privacy Policy. Cylipso Diving B.V. (“Cylipso Diving”, “we”, “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and the choices you have when you visit our website cylipsodiving.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information you give us

If you use the contact form on our Contact Us page, we collect the details you enter: your first name (optional), phone number and email address. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever contact details and message content you send. Please do not send sensitive information such as payment card or identity numbers through the form.

b. Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider may collect non-personal technical information, including:

  • Browser type and device
  • Operating system
  • Referring website
  • Pages viewed and time spent on the Site

3. How We Use Information

a. Contact details

We use the details you submit only to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote or arrange our services. The contact form sends your message to our email inbox; the Site itself does not store form submissions in a database. We do not sell your personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.

b. Technical information

Technical information is used to:

  • Monitor and analyse website traffic and usage
  • Improve the functionality and content of the Site
  • Keep the Site secure and operating effectively

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses Google Tag Manager, which may load analytics tools that set cookies or use similar technologies to help us understand how the Site is used. Cookies are small files placed on your device. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the Site.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and respond to you (for example our website host, email provider and analytics provider), or where required by law. These providers may process information outside Sint Maarten.

6. Retention

We keep enquiry details only for as long as needed to deal with your request and to keep reasonable business records, after which they are deleted. You may ask us to delete your details at any time.

7. Your Rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Links and Embeds

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, and an embedded Google Map on the Contact Us page. These third parties have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete it.
